ICIE, RNCD and IBICT promote the 1st International Conference on Information Integrity

 

The 1st International Conference on Information Integrity will take place November 21 to 22, 2024, in conjunction with the 5th Meeting of the International Center for Information Ethics – ICIE and the 1st Meeting of the National Network to Combat Disinformation – RNCD . The combined event highlights the joint efforts of institutions that have been strongly combating the various forms of disinformation inside and outside the country.

The conference aims to foster dialogue on information ethics, artificial intelligence, digital humanities, regulation of digital platforms and disinformation. It will be a unique opportunity for national and international researchers, students and professionals. Two short courses will also be offered: “Data Literacy for communication professionals” and “Ethics in data handling”.

Among the confirmed speakers are José Medeiros da Silva (China), Juan-Carlos Suárez (Spain), Philippe Léna (France), Samara Mariana de Castro (SECOM), Sérgio Amadeu da Silveira (UFABC), Bruna Martins (Global Coalition for Tech Justice), among others.
