Jared Bielby is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Freelance Netizen and President of Netizen Consulting Ltd.

He serves as Executive Director for the International Center for Information Ethics (ICIE) and is Editor-in-Chief of the International Review of Information Ethics. In addition to his work with ICIE, Jared is the Digital Ethics Advisor for the City of Edmonton where he advises on several projects for data governance. Jared completed a double MA/MLIS, specializing in Information Ethics, at the University of Alberta, Canada.
